Parent Chapters - Bringing Texas Tech closer to you!

Since 1956, Texas Tech Parents Association (Tech Parents) has served the needs of parents of Texas Tech students.

Texas Tech Parents Association organizes parent chapters on county-wide or city-wide areas across Texas and Colorado to help families connect.  Chapters often partner with Texas Tech Alumni Association chapters and the Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions to participate in local events.  Participation in chapters is a great way to get involved, stay connected with your student, and be informed about Texas Tech University.  Chapters gatherings are once or twice a month for social events and general meetings to keep you informed.

Reasons to get involved in a local chapter:

  • Network and meet other Texas Tech parents and families in your area
  • Support your student
  • Learn more about Texas Tech University
  • Receive assistance, information, support and services
  • Access resources

Texas Tech Parents Association considers new chapters annually. If you are interested in starting a chapter in your area, please read our Chapter Policies & Procedures.
