Military Family Membership Instruction

TEXAS TECH PARENTS ASSOCIATION

is honored to offer

DUES FREE MEMBERSHIP

to Red Raider military families.

 

 

Requirement:

You must be a service member or spouse of a service member of any of the American military branches with a student enrolled at Texas Tech.  Your status may be any of the following: active duty, honorably discharged, or retired.

 

A former-spouse (civilian) of an enrolled Texas Tech student does not qualify to receive the military membership.

 

To become a military family member of the Association is a two-step process.
 
1.  Fill in the Association's Membership Form:
a. Click "Military Family" membership option and continue
b. Check yes  “Military Family”  on the registration form
 

Once you submit, your registration will be on hold for processing.

2.  Email Military Family Program Coordinator at mfp@texastechparents.org.

a. Type, "Military Family Application Completed" on the subject line

b. Attach one of the following to validate military service. Redact personal information (SSN/DOD numbers).

i.  Uniformed Services ID Card (front only)

ii.  DD214

iii. “Proof of Service” letter issued by your military branch

iv. Personal letter on your official military letterhead stationary

 

The benefit is to the American veteran or military service member and does not apply to Department of Defense Civilian Employees, active or retired, nor civilian auxiliaries.
